Preston 1-0 Coventry
Struggling Preston climbed out of the Coca-Cola Championship relegation zone for the first time since Christmas following a hard-fought 1-0 win over Coventry.
Defender Sean St Ledger gave the Lilywhites a deserved half-time lead after heading home his first goal of the season in the 21st minute. And despite Coventry pushing forward for most of the second half, St Ledger's goal proved enough to secure Preston's fourth straight home win and take them above Sheffield Wednesday.
The Lilywhites have also climbed to within two points of Coventry, whose spirited second-half performance did not reflect a side who have slipped towards the drop zone after a run of five successive away defeats in the league.

Bet365- online casino's
Bet365 new feature is the one wallet system which means you can benefit from the entire range of services from only one account, so no need to have some many passwords and accounts its on just one account., so having one password will increase the security.
Personally I have had mixed results with online betting, its certainly very exciting and something I could see myself participating in very regularly. You need to be sensible however and make sure you know when to stop your betting.
It definitely makes a sports event more exciting to watch if you have a few pounds riding on the final outcome.

Bruces signs for Wigan
Wigan chairman Dave Whelan hailed 'one of the best young managers in the land', after confirming he has agreed a deal to lure Steve Bruce away from Premier League rivals Birmingham.
While neither the Latics nor the Blues were expecting to issue any official statements, Wigan are believed to have secured Bruce on a £2million per year, four-year contract. Whelan confirmed his club will pay Birmingham £3million compensation as part of the deal. He told Sky Sports: 'I'm delighted we've got him. I think he's a big loss for Birmingham and a big signing for Wigan Athletic.' Bruce will replace former boss Chris Hutchings, who left the club this month.
Under Hutchings, Wigan briefly topped the table after three games but have lost their last seven matches and are now second bottom of the table.

QPR 1 - Coventry 3
Michael Mifsud and Kevin Kyle shown that class is not everything by earning Coventry a dramatic last-gasp victory at QPR. New Rangers manager Luigi De Canio looked to be on his way to his second win in charge when his first signing, Akos Buzsaky, thumped the hosts into the lead shortly after half-time.
But cash-strapped Coventry City, who have been banned from making any transfers, hit back on the hour when Mifsud, the man known as the 'Mosquito', swooped to register his 11th goal of the season and with substitute Kyle struck in stoppage time with a bullet header to secure a third straight Coca-Cola Championship win for Iain Dowie's troubled side.
