Perth International Arts Festival


The Perth International Arts Festival (PIAF), held in Western Australia every summer, showcases some of the world's finest artists and performers.

Perth with its beautiful backdrops of the sunny weather, beautiful nights and the ocean, is jam packed every summer with world-class theatre, music, dance, literature and visual arts. The PIAF has become the oldest festival in Australia and the premier cultural event.

Big names like Jazz legend Pat Metheny, soprano Elizabeth Connell, Welsh opera singer Bryn Terfel, actress Sandra Bernhard and artist Tracey Moffatt have all graced Western Australia's sunny shores for the event.

There's lots of family street theater and an 18-week season of award-winning films direct from international film festivals.

Music lovers are spoil for choice during PIAF's four-week reign with previous musician like the vibrant and inventive music of violinist Nigel Kennedy.
