Timeout in London

Been to London Recently? Maybe its time that you did and with the great things happening in London it’s the best time to adventure over to the wonderful City. But I guess your wondering what’s there to do in London? Try looking at timeout.com where you find plenty of information on places to see, things to do, and of course hotels in London to stay, basically it’s the A to Z of London.

Today we look at hotels in London, and I give you some examples of the choices available though the website:

The recently redesigned London County Hall Travel Inn Capital hotel has been done by some style guru to create a new looking hotel from the bland hospital-esque of before. Now with in purple carpets, funky photographs and a postmodern clock without any numbers, but some things have not changed and that is the great prices they still offer and typically children stay for free and remember there located on the Thames River too near the likes of London Eye and Big Ben.

If your looking for up end London Hotel then the Baglioni is the one, they come from a exclusive Italian group and has made the bold move into London. The fantastic lobby bar is part baroque, part Donatella Versace: spidery black chandeliers, burnished gold ceilings and gigantic vases filled with roses. The chic bedrooms are more masculine: dark wood floors, black lacquered tables and taupe walls, enlivened by brash, clashing, striped sofas. In the swanky black bathrooms, the flattering lighting would make even Norma Desmond look young. Downstairs, the flashy Brunello restaurant serves expensive Italian food to ladies in sparkly tops.
