Accomblog.com

Just been looking at a new site in have found called Accomblog, and found it quite interesting to read, which started online in July this year They have some good accommodation stories about different interests relating to
• Australia & NZ
• Europe
• Fun
• Hotels
• North America
• Shopping
• Strange
• Travel Ideas
• World
I just like highlight several of these stories; first to catch my eye was regarding People falling at Niagara Falls. In fact 19 people have attempted to go over the falls in something resembling a barrel. It should be noted here that it was only an attempt for tragically, four people died, six were stopped before they could jump, and only nine survived to tell the tale…one of them on emerging from her barrel told the world a revelation she had from the gods, “no one should try that!”

The tip is to go over at the Canadian side of the falls as there is no rocks so there’s a little chance to survive, never try at the American side.

The very first person who went over the falls was Annie Edson in 1901. She wasn’t actually as crazy as she sounds; she tested the stunt with a poor defenseless little cat before trusting the barrel with her life. More can be found out by clicking the link above.

The second article I enjoyed was the best airport for shopping, Even airports are catching up to this human addiction and are coming up with beautifully presented and brilliantly decorated stores which, almost hypnotically, attract the travellers to their doors while looking to kill sometime, with nothing else to do. A few airports actually are not such a bad place to shop. These are the few that promise value for your money spent.

Hong Kong is one of the best airports in more them one way. Apart from being an architectural wonder the airport is a good place to pick up some extra luggage on your journey.
London’s Heathrow International Airport offers great shopping opportunities for people wanting to stock up on British brands and souvenirs. All of the terminals boast branches of renowned British stores and brand names.

Singapore is a city that offers great shopping to its visitors and entering the Changi Airport doesn’t mean that you can give your wallet a rest. There is a wide selection of stores and items. With around 160 retail stores and 80 eateries; you are bound to find something to satisfy your fashion needs as well as taste buds.

So enjoy this website and you will find more great stories
